Where's The Beef?

In an effort to create a more sustainable menu, we have made many changes recently in the types of products we use. Many of you may have seen my posts about our use of hydroponically grown lettuces. Today I thought you might like some facts about the beef we use as well.
Our beef is Certified Humane raised and handled. That means our beef is
  • Never exposed to hormones or antibiotics,
  • Source- and age-verified American beef,
  • All vegetarian fed,
  • Guaranteed Angus, and
  • Raised using sustainable ranching practices.

In Response

I have been struggling with the best way to respond to this weekend's posts and have decided that this is the most appropriate forum. In running a family restaurant and bar we are often faced with tough choices. These include cutting guests off that have had too much to drink and in some cases asking belligerent guests to leave the building. We do this for the safety of our staff and our guests. We continue to encourage both positive and negative feedback; however inappropriate language and threats against our staff will not be tolerated on our sites. We thank you for your continued support and assure you that we will continue to do the right thing when faced with these tough choices in the future.

Mr. Tommy Condon

I would like to introduce myself, the girl behind the scenes posting on Facebook, Twitter and this blog! My name is Lindsay and many of you may remember me from my years managing at Tommy's. I love this picture of me and Tommy from St. Pat's this year!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Tommy Condon's blog! We'll be posting news and events regularly. We will also be introducing our new chef and the other folks behind the scenes. Can't wait for St. Patrick's Day! Pictures will be posted Friday just in case you can't make it to celebrate with us in person! Check out our Twitter feed at the bottom of the page and links to Facebook, Twitter, and our Webpage in the sidebar.
